FAQ & Prices

How does gold plating work?

We apply gold to the metal surface by electroplating using a solution that contains gold in suspension. The electroplating process we use bonds the gold to the surface of the base metal. Repeated application forms a thick gold layer on the item that is very durable.

Do you also do silver plating?

Yes as well as gold plating we can also electroplate with silver, rhodium, chrome substitute, nickel and copper.

Do you offer while you wait gold plating services?

Yes. You are welcome to drop the item off and collect it again a short while later. Alternatively we can send a motorcycle courier to collect the item and drop it back off again after it is gold plated.
